Overview

PLCProject stores the content of TIA Portal Projects V14, V15, V15_1 and V16 to XML-Files in a very fast and flexible way.
As a standing alone application it accesses the TIA projectfiles directly and does not presuppose any other software to be installed.
All controller devices (S7 300, S7 400, S7 1200 and S7 1500) and HMI devices are exported. Each device contains groups, blocks, types, symbols, tags and constants, each block contains declarations and their addresses, code, attributes and comments.

You can install PLCProject under MS Windows and under Linux. For both operating systems the commandline application 'PLCProject' is used to create the XML-Files, for example

        PLCProject xmlfile=c:\tiaprojects\projekt1.xml projectfile=c:\tiaprojects\projekt1\projekt1.ap16

... would convert the whole content of this simple project to XML and 'projekt1.xml' could look like this:

With additional arguments you can filter the kind of data you need by excluding XML-tags and blocktypes. Also multilingual resources are supported.

The Windows version also includes a GUI application 'WPLCProject' where you can browse the project and create the XML-Files via Menu and Dialog.

License

After download and installation you can use a free trialversion for three weeks. The trialversion has restricted functionality in the way, that about 20% of all blocks, declarations, symbols, segments and operands are suppressed in the generated XML-File.
The price for a single license is 399 € plus local taxes.
To order a license just send a mail to reitmeier@hrsys.de. It is important to copy the trial serialnumber to your order. You will receive an invoice and after incoming payment we send you a mail containing the licensed serialnumber and a description how to set it. No further installation will be necessary.
